Board of Directors - Josaf Rodriguez

Josaf Rodriguez was previously employed by the Santa Cruz Police Department, and worked there for 12 years. He was involved in gang investigations and gang intelligence. He also served as a member of the Santa Cruz County Narcotic Enforcement Task Force.

Josaf graduated from the United States Marine Corps School of Engineering in 1989 and earned his military credentials in Combat Engineering. He served with the 1 st Marine Expeditionary Unit as a member of 3 rd Reconnaissance Battalion 3 rd Marines. He served during two campaigns; Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm during the Persian Gulf War. He was awarded the 2 star Combat Action Ribbon.

He later attended Monterey Peninsula College and Chapman University where he completed his studies in Administration of Justice. He also holds credentials in Business Finance and Real Estate.

Josaf is a member of the American Legion, Western Real Estate Developers Association, sits on the Board of Directors of the Central Coast Gang Investigator Association, and on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for Leadership Monterey Peninsula.

Josaf is a Pacific Wilderness Survival Instructor for Outward Bound and volunteers with various Boys Ranches developing personal development programs for young teens .
