Training Advisory Board - Morgan Chappell
Morgan Chappell started his career with the California Department of Corrections at San Quentin State Prison in 2003, where he worked as a tier officer on Death Row, and while at the prison he distinguished himself as a SERT team member. As a police officer Morgan worked for the Burlingame Police Department, where he was a range master, taser instructor, defensive tactics instructor and member of the San Mateo County Gang Task Force.
Morgan currently works for the Watsonville Police Department where he is a Gang Detective. He founded and Administers the Watsonville Police Department Gang Prevention Project. This program takes "At Risk" youth and provides them the tools and resources to get out of the gang lifestyle and also alternatives to gang involvement.
