Because you demanded it..... WE ARE BACK!!!!!
CCGIA Gang Conference 2012
March 5th-7th 2012 , at the Double Tree Hotel in San Jose, California
The CCGIA gang conference will benefit both new and seasoned gang investigators alike, utilizing both informational updates and “How To” classes to assist you in your upcoming investigations. CCGIA has searched for the best instructors in their fields, to provide up to date topics, intelligence, and techniques.
If you are working the streets, in the prisons or parole, county custody facilities, Federal Investigations, Probation officers, ICE/DHS agents or coming into contact with gangs or organized crime members, this conference is a MUST for your training and expertise....especially with the passing of "AB 109" you need to be prepared and educated!
ALL topics will include source documentation and new trends to assist you not only in your investigations but also during your testimony and court preparation!
Conference Topics
- Court Room Preparation and Expert Testimony
- Northern Ryders
- White Gangs (FAIM, AB, NLR, Etc.)
- Cartels and DTO's
- Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs
- Nortenos and Nuestra Familia
- Surenos and Mexican Mafia
This year, we are doing something that has NEVER been done in the Western US at a conference.... in addition to a law enforcement speaker, EVERY topic will have a "special guest speaker" consisting of an ex-member or similar. This means for every group... you will hear from a law enforcement expert and from a former member to answer your questions, talk about your jurisdiction, and give you "first hand" knowledge about the group from the "inside"perspective
.
For the "Courtroom Preparation" course, we will feature Christopher Darden. Mr. Darden was the lead prosecutor in the "O.J. Simpson" trial, and is a frequent guest commentator on CNN, Fox News and Court TV. He is now a leading criminal defense attorney in the southern CA area. Mr. Darden will discuss criminal defense strategies in gang prosecutions and will present with Michael Runyon from the San Diego Co DA's office.
**All topics are subject to instructor availability. CCGIA believes deeply in only providing top quality training. If the very best instructors are not available, then we will not teach the topic. We would rather change topics, than to provide a less
knowledgeable
instructor. If a topic changes, we will change it here on the website immediately**
**Admittance to the conference is restricted to law enforcement professionals including Police Officers , Sheriff Deputies, Parole Agents, Probation Officers, District Attorneys, Military Police, Crime Analysts, Correctional Officers, Federal law enforcement officials. Law enforcement Agency identification is required at the door, NO exceptions! (We reserve the right to deny admission to anyone the Board of Directors deems necessary) **
