Central Coast Gang Investigator Association Membership

CCGIA offers TWO different levels of membership to our association. Become a member of CCGIA and join the ranks of some of the leading gang investigators in the Western States Region. Membership to professional associations lends credibility to your resume or curriculum vitae, Search Warrant Affidavits, testimony and can help expand your career options.
You will become part of a quality organization that puts integrity, quality of training, and education, before anything else. CCGIA has built our reputation on providing the best instructors, the most current intelligence, and the most beneficial training available. Whether you attend the gang investigation conference, a one day seminar, or other CCGIA training, you know you will receive relevent and new information.
To become a member of Central Coast Gang Investigator's Association you must meet the following qualifications:
- Currently Sworn Peace Officer, Crime/Intelligence Analyst, Correctional Officer or Federal Agent and
- Be currently Employed by a Law Enforcement Agency (Federal, State or Local) or
- Retired Sworn Law Enforcement Officer, currently employed training law enforcement officers or
- Currently employed by a Law Enforcement Agency as a Criminal Analyst with "Confidential Law Enforcement Only" access clearance
* Retired Law Enforcement officers and Crime Analysts will be considered for membership on a case by case basis
**** All applications will be reviewed by the CCGIA Board of Directors. CCGIA reserves the right to accept or reject any application, at any time, for any reason it deems necessary. CCGIA also reserves the right to terminate any membership at any time, for any reason, without or without explanation to the parties involved ****
Basic Membership Benefits
- Quarterly E-Newsletter containing case law updates, gang and organized crime group intelligence, and current crime trends. This will be sent via email to you.
- Be eligible for discounted "CCGIA member" tuition price on applicable classes
- Membership to a professional organization that puts the needs of the investigator first.
- Basic Membership to CCGIA is $40.00 per year (12 months)
Gold Membership Benefits
- Be given admission to one "one day" course for FREE (this in itself is a $100 - $140 value)
- Quarterly E-Newsletter containing case law updates, gang and organized crime group intelligence, and current crime trends. This will be emailed to you. (You will receive one "hard copy" of the current e-newsletter when you join, all future enewsletters will be emailed)
- Be eligible for discounted "CCGIA member" tuition price on applicable classes
- Gain priority seating reservations for all CCGIA training classes and the annual conference (this guarantees you a seat in any course you wish to attend)
