Seminars - Northern Ryders and 25 Pesetas Gangs
One Day Training Course
The Central Coast Gang Investigator Association is proud to present the following eight hour training course:
“Northern Ryders and 25 Pesetas Gangs ”
This course is will cover the history and current status of the "Northern Ryders" and their Sureno counterparts the "25 Pesetas". It will include how these groups operate both in custody and on the street, the current players, ways they communicate, how they effect the other Norteno and Sureno gangs, and much much more.
The course curriculum will include the following topics:

- History of 25 Pesetas and Northern Ryders
- The difference between Northern Ryders and other Nortenos
- Maximizing Intelligence Gathering Efforts
- Documenting NR and 25 activities and members
- The difference between 25 Pesetas and other Surenos
- Identifying NR and 25 activity in your jurisdiction
- Intelligence Updates
- Source Documentation
Course Information: This class is eight hours long, and will run from 0800-1700 hrs. This course is being taught by Antonio Torres of CDCR Parole Bay Area and Edgar Ramos of CDCR Vacaville. Each student will receive a certificate of completion.
POST Information: This course is POST certified (1073-23213-10-001) and is reimbursable Plan 4
Tuition: $110 for Non-CCGIA members. ($100 for current CCGIA members)

Registration to this course is limited to students who have meet the prerequisites mandated for full-time employment as an official in a law enforcement or administration of justice agency. Verification of current employment in law enforcement is required . There will be no exceptions.
